1. CITY MANAGER ISSUE - A major objection to the current City Manager Position, is that the City Manager is far removed from the Will of the People. One way to make the City Manager more accountable to The People is to have a full-time working Mayor. However, managing a City the size of Redondo Beach requires specialized knowledge and talents that would impose a great burden on a Mayor. An alternative to a full time Mayor is to elect the City Manager by a vote of The People. Candidates for City Manager would be required to meet definite requirements of education and experience as set forth by the City Council. For example, candidates could be required to have a Masters degree in City management and 2 years of managing another City successfully. Do you believe that the Citizens of Redondo Beach should make the position of City Manager more accountable to the People by electing the City Manager?
Keep it the way it is
 Elect The City Manager

2. MIXED-USE DENSITY ISSUE - The City has proposed a large new development from 312 to 322 Pacific Coast Highway near Pearl Street. This is a multi-use development that will be 4 stories high and will include 44 residential units in the upper stories with businesses below them at street level. Traffic from this development will apparentlly have to be routed through residential areas. Are you in favor of this development as proposed? Or are you opposed to it?
I am in favor of the development
I am opposed to the development
